Paprika is ground from a mix of peppers, native to S. America. Varies from mild to hot, and in colour, from brown to scarlet. Use at start of cooking. Add generously to soups, salad dressings or dips e.g. mayonnaise. A colourful topping for potatoes, add raw as garnish on salads, dips or cooked food.
