Eco Femme – Day Pad +

Description

The Eco Femme Day Pad + is ethically traded, and is designed for daytime using throughout your period, it features a comfortable soft cotton flannel top side, in dark pink, with 5 layers of absorbency, plus a hidden PUL (polyurethane laminate) layer for leakproofing.  The pad is backed with a colourful print fabric to co-ordinate with the top flannel – this print may vary from that shown in the image.  Use this pad plain side towards your skin.

Eco Femme is a global women’s empowerment project, promoting menstrual practices that are healthy, dignified, affordable and eco-positive. Rural Indian womens collectives stitch these pads, which are then ethically traded – available to Indian women at cost price to be affordable, and sold internationally to help sustain and fund the project. By choosing Eco Femme products, you are supporting this valuable and worthwhile project.  In addition, for every pad sold, a pad is donated via the Eco Femme Pad for Pad program to a needy Indian girl who otherwise would be going without.

Each Day Pad comes packaged with full instructions, and all packaging is recycled.  Price is for a single pad.

The Day pad measures approximately 24cm long x 6cm.  In testing we observed slight pad shrinkage after pre-washing them, the sizes quoted are after washing, so your new pads may appear slightly bigger.
